The Buddy Booking Platform lets you showcase your business and accept bookings from customers. Registration involves a straightforward 7-step process to set up your business profile and start accepting bookings.

Registration Process

1. Create Your Account

  • Enter your contact information:

    • First and last name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Create a password

  • Review and accept platform terms and conditions

2. Verify Your Email

  • Check your inbox for the verification email

  • Click the verification link to confirm your account

  • Log in after verification is complete

3. Add Business Information

  • Enter your legal business details:

    • Legal business name

    • Main business address

    • Business location details including:

      • Address lines

      • ZIP/Postal code

      • City/Town

      • Region/State

      • Country

    • Currency:

      • By default the currency of your country of registration is selected. If you operate you business in other currency you can update it from here.

      • You can update the currency from the payments settings later.

4. Select Business Type

Choose your primary business type:

  • Dive shop

  • Dive resort

  • Liveaboard

  • Independent instructor/freelancer

  • Travel agency

  • Other

5. Add Service Offerings

Select all services you provide:

  • Guided dive tours

  • Boat charters & tours

  • Snorkeling tours

  • Scuba certification courses

  • Instructor development courses

  • Freediving courses

  • Technical diving training

  • Junior diver programs

  • First aid/CPR training

  • Equipment sales and rentals

  • Air/nitrox refills

  • Equipment maintenance

  • Dive travel planning

  • Mermaiding

6. Complete Public Profile

Add customer-facing information:

  • "Doing Business As" name

  • Business affiliations

  • Short description

  • About section

  • Contact information (verified phone/email)

  • Website

  • Languages spoken

  • Business hours

7. Add Imagery

Upload business photos:

  • Logo

  • Header/banner image

  • Additional gallery images

  • Maximum 10 images

  • Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP

Q: How do I verify my business phone number?

A: You have two options:

  • Receive an OTP via SMS (mobile numbers)

  • Get a verification code through voice call (landline or mobile)

Q: What if I make a mistake with my email?

A: You can correct your email on the verification page before proceeding further.

Q: How do I upload images correctly?

A: Use high-quality, professional images

  • Ensure files are in supported formats (JPG, PNG, WEBP)

  • Maintain 4:3 aspect ratio

  • Keep files under size limit

  • Maximum 10 images total

After Registration

Q: When will my business be visible to customers?

A: After completing registration:

  1. Buddy admin team reviews your details

  2. You receive approval notification

  3. Your business becomes visible on the mobile app

  4. You can begin setting up activities

Q: How do I add my team members?

A: Once your business is approved:

  1. Go to Settings > Booking Users

  2. Invite team members by email

  3. Assign appropriate user groups

  4. Team members create their accounts

A: After approval:

  1. Complete your business profile
