Embed & Share: Booking Widget Options

Updated over 2 months ago

Choose the right format for linking or showcasing your activities — from direct links, galleries and custom pop-ups.

Link: URL for Buttons, Socials, etc

Share this anywhere you can paste a URL — your website, social bio, stories, or in messages.
Opens your activity or gallery in a new tab/window when clicked.

Best for:
• Website buttons
• Hyperlinked text
• Instagram & TikTok bios
• Story links
• DMs & Texts

💡 Use this if you want a fast, direct link that works anywhere.

iframe: Visual Gallery

Embed your activity or gallery directly into your website — no new tab, no pop-up.
Displays the full booking window, information and imagery, as part of your page.

Best for:
• Booking or activity pages
• Embedding a full gallery view
• Single activity pages
• Letting customers browse and book directly within your site.

💡 Use this if you want the booking flow to feel fully built into your website.

HTML: Pop-Up

This option generates a full HTML code block that creates a simple text button on your website. When clicked, that button opens a pop-up booking window — keeping customers on your site.

But most people prefer a different approach:

💡 To use a pop-up with your own website button, you only need the first line of the HTML code — the <script> tag.

How it works:

  • You design your own button (with your styling)

  • Behind that button, you include just the first line generated.

This connects your button to the Buddy Booking pop-up, so it opens directly on your site — without opening a new page or tab.

Best for:
• Turning your website’s custom buttons into booking pop-ups
• Keeping users on your site
• Creating a seamless booking experience with your own design

💡 Use this if you want to trigger a pop-up from your own button, without showing the default text button.
